Question about carbon monoxide?

Alright so today we used the charcoal grill and one of our windows was open but it had the black net over it that most windows have. So I was wondering if I should close the window or will the carbon monoxide get trapped inside or should I leave it open so it can flow out. We made the BBQ outside
