Headaches, earaches, dizziness and a bit of nausea?

For the last two weeks, I've been having headaches and dizziness. About a week ago, I started getting (mild) earaches and a bit of nausea. Two of my brothers and my dad are experiencing similar symptoms. My mum mentioned something about carbon monoxide poisoning but my dad dismissed that and said she was being stupid, that it's just a head cold. None of my friends who I interact with on a daily basis have this either. My mum refuses to let my go to the doctors. What do you think this is?
